The JetLAN AR252 builds on the success of the JetLAN family of airborne processing and networking solutions by providing multiple processing elements for application, I/O and graphics processing.

It not only has the performance and optional features customers have come to expect from the JetLAN family, but now includes a Real-Time Operating System and E4690 Graphics Processing Unit. The AR252 provides a RTOS via a PowerPC platform using VxWorks.  Applications requiring complex image manipulation, rendering, or dedicated vector calculation utilize a separate certified GPU, avoiding consumption of valuable application processor performance.  A separate PowerPC processor is utilized to manage the I/O interfaces, enabling maximum processing resources to be applied to the primary application.  Designed, built, and qualified to stringent avionics standards for safety and reliability, the AR252 also employs a sealed enclosure, enabling it to withstand harsh environments.  Canyon AeroConnect’s quality standards, combined with our history of delivering processing and performance value, are the keys to meeting a  variety of airborne computing needs.
