Role purpose (position scope):

This position entails the testing and basic troubleshooting of products with a simple to moderate level of difficulty, from pre assembled circuit boards to the final test stage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test completed Assemblies and Products as per the written procedures
  • Ability to make independent decisions using initiative and judgment in diagnostic troubleshooting and repair of malfunctioning assemblies.
  • Perform all duties as per the applicable Quality Program Procedure

Core Competencies:

  • Ability to accurately follow both written and oral instructions.
  • Excellent hand eye coordination.
  • A high level of concentration.
  • Ability to distinguish colors.
  • Ability to solder to acceptable standards. (Will be trained in house.)
  • The capability to work with little or no supervision.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE –

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of electronics.
  • Working towards an electronics certificate or degree.(Preferable)

Physical Demands:

Long periods of standing and sitting/repetitive motion/periods of strong visual and mental attention/high pitch noise/neck, back, and shoulder strain.
